Chatsworth provides residential care for adults over sixty five, including people living with dementia and people approaching the end of their lives. We are registered for twenty six residents, which is small enough that everyone who works here knows everyone who lives here. That is rather the point of the place.
We are passionate about the people who live here
What we provide
Care here is personal in the literal sense. We build it around what each resident wants and needs, and we change it as those needs change, rather than asking people to fit a routine that happens to suit the building. Residents are encouraged to say how and when they want things done.

What families say
Lovely home, staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would recommend this home.
The people who look after you
Low turnover, no agency staff, and a manager who has worked every job in this building
- Keep smilingYou smile, they smile.
- HonestyOpen and transparent, with an open door.
- TeamworkDifferent skills and knowledge, one team.
- PassionateSomewhere good to work, live and visit.
- Open mindedRespectful of everyone’s beliefs and preferences.
These five values were written by the staff, not by management.
At the last inspection, in a report published on 11 March 2020. Chatsworth was re registered with the Care Quality Commission in September 2025 and is waiting for its first inspection under that registration.
