We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, who navigate by keyboard, or who need to make the text larger. Many of the people looking for a care home are older themselves, so this matters to us.
What we have done
This site is built to be read at larger text sizes without losing content, to work on a phone as well as a computer, to be navigable using a keyboard alone, and to give every image a text description. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA.
Where we know we fall short
We have not yet had this site independently audited, so we cannot claim it is fully compliant. Some older documents and images may not have complete descriptions, and the embedded map is difficult to use with a screen reader.
