This policy explains how Chatsworth Residential Home Ltd collects and uses personal information, and what your rights are. It covers this website and the enquiries that come through it.
Who we are
Chatsworth Residential Home Ltd is the data controller. You can reach us at Chatsworth Residential Home, Dormy Avenue, Mannamead, Plymouth PL3 5BE, on 01752 660048, or by email at info@chatsworthcare.co.uk.
What we collect through this website
When you fill in our enquiry form we collect your name, your email address, your telephone number if you give it, and whatever you write in the message. When you apply through our careers page we also collect the CV you upload and the information in it. We do not ask for health information through this website, and we would ask you not to send any.
Our website also collects technical information about your visit, such as the pages you looked at and roughly where in the world you are. This comes from analytics cookies and is described in our cookie policy.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use enquiry details to answer you and, if it goes further, to talk about a possible placement. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, namely responding to someone who has contacted us about care. For job applications the basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Information about people who live here is handled separately from this website, under our care records policies. Care records include health information, and we handle that under the legal bases that apply to the provision of health and social care.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for marketing. We share information with our web hosting and email providers because they process it on our behalf, and with regulators, the local authority, health professionals or the police where we are required or permitted to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a placement are kept for no more than twelve months. Unsuccessful job applications are kept for six months and then deleted. Care records are retained in line with the Records Management Code of Practice for Health and Social Care.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, to object to how we are using it, and to ask us to restrict our use of it. To exercise any of these, write to us at the address above or email info@chatsworthcare.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are not happy
Please tell us first, so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
